When Japanese University students come to the UK, they, and the parents, and their University benefactors want to know that they are safe, and well looked after. After all, we want the same for our own members.
To ensure that BKX Japanese University students are looked after, we want them to be placed either in hotels or with host families.
Host families in particular offer University students the British culture they are seeking, and can connect them directly to the kendo practice and teaching opportunities which they are coming to the UK for.

HOST FAMILES

We are always looking for willing kendo families to take BKX students for up to a month. They may move around, but ideally they will be looking for a base. So we would like to ask interested families to contact us and go onto our list of Host Families. The visiting students will pay a fee for staying with you, and these costs are outlined in the below attached tariff

that covers the essentials – a comfortable room, breakfast, evening meal, washing and ironing.
Airport pick-ups and drop-offs will be as well as car parking at the airport will need to be pre-arranged.
